Discovery 3 tyre time 18 inch

    Ok here the deal.
1 there are no general grabbers in the country until August,
2 Cooper AT 3s only available in passenger grade
    3 285/60/18 cooper Xeon, s rub?

Any suggestions before July 20th as I have a snow outing coming up,

Pirelli scorpion ATR's come in standard size for a D3. Probably a bit more pricey than the GG's but otherwise I thought they were a good tyre.

    Try this http://www.aulro.com/afvb/d3-d4-rrs/...e-18-rims.html
I've got the D697, seem pretty good after 8k kms. I paid $370 3 months ago.

I was just quoted $475 for the D697 but am yet to shop around.

The place I went to suggested the Yokohama Geolander AT/S GO12 as an option for $399. Does anyone have any experience with these? Not LT but are they OK? Yet another option.....

I have a 17" LT version of the Yoko AT/S which have been good but I'm likely to try D697 next time because the D697s have a more open tread pattern which will better suit my general usage.

yes, I have just put on a set of 5 new D697s today in 265/60R18. Very happy with them, look good and very glad to have light truck at last. Got them from Jax tyres for $379 each (not fitted - I got them done, plus wheel alignment and steering alignment, at the dealer). I had the General Grabber AT2s on before which did good mileage but were a bit soft on tracks (or I was a bit rough...!)
