Without removing the panel and getting a metal base plate welded in I don't think the inner panel even filled with foam will carry the weight of the jack that may weigh around 10kg = particularly over rough ground.

I am looking to store it under the rear seats.

I have confirmed elsewhere and just checked my 101 jack that falls over all the time that these type of jacks do not like being on their sides.

Oops - double post got distracted buying some angel light DRLs for my RRS

There is a good picture of it neatly stored upright in the links on the original post, if that doesn't work, I will just cable tie it to the cargo barrier.

Yes but that is for a D3 not a RRS.
