Here you go, I'm pretty sure this is lowered, it was a while since I took this and I replaced my sidesteps with sliders so i cant take you a new one, but I am 90% sure this was in the access setting.
As the title says. I'm after a photo of a D3 with the sidesteps in the lowest suspension setting.
My parents are considering vehicles to buy to tow there Caravan. They want a 4x4 but my mother has a bad hip (second replacement) and she stuggles to climb into most of them.
They need a big enough vehicle to tow the van safely but heights a problem. While I think they can afford a D4 and I think the trailer stability assist would be fantastic for Dad who is getting on, I dont think they will pay that much for a vehilce.
I am suggesting a D3 and I want to show them how low they are to climb into when lowered with side steps.
Thanks
Happy Days.

Joel - good call on D3 and not a D4. My 82 year old father-in-law has had a hip replacement and he found it easier to get into my D3 - due to the handle on the headrest. The D4 doesn't have this - so even at access height, it is a struggle for him to grab *anything* to pull himself into the cabin and onto the seat.
Cheers,
Rob

There are some mobility aids to help getting into vehicles. Whether they will work on a Discovery I'm not sure.

Have a look for one with electric seats, they will go right down and slide back.
my mum who has issues with her hips and back actually finds it easier to get into the D3 than her own vehicle as she can slide in as suggested above
cheers

A combination of a D3 with the handle and Llams fitted so it goes down even lower could help ?
