hello Together,
just wondering what you guy's run on road with
the ST Maxx
Cheers
Steve
ok great but placard only goes to 255 I have 265 does that make a difference?
I run 36psi Front, 38psi Rear, got to this through trial and error, if I'm towing I go to 38psi Front, 44psi Rear.
Only takes a couple of trips to get it right, well it did for me, I use the tyre placard as a starting point, then go up or down from there.

I run 38 front and because they bulge out a bit at the back I run 40 in the rear.
I have same ST Maxx Steve (265/70/17) and use the '4 psi' rule (ie tyre should increase about 4 psi from cold to normal running temp although I gather with LT tyres 6 psi is Ok). Following lots of trial and error -around town unloaded I only need 32 psi front and 35 psi rear. When towing camper I use 36psi front and 38-40psi rear depending on load. I take into account these tyres are very heavy duty compared with OEM 19" Goodyear which I have on at present-I use the tyre placard guide of 33F/36R for them. Regards,David

Handling mainly, how it sits on the road, with and without the camper, how it steers, I find if the pressures are too hard it will push into corners, not good with the camper on as it adds to it.
The car should flow from corner to corner, you shouldn't have to fight the car, by either correcting the under or oversteer, makes for a more relaxing drive, especially when doing long Ks.
