connecting ipod to aux on radio

Hi Guys as a newbie this may have been done to death.
    I have a 2008 D3 S with air suspension
I have seen two different ways to connect which is the best.
    1. connect to the back of the radio.
    2. connect to the wires in LH foot well.(does a S have these wires in the well)

    cheers

Does the S not have an Aux jack on the back of the centre console in the passenger area next to the rear cigarette lighter power socket?

On my 2007 SE D3 with CD400 head unit, I chose the left hand foot well.

Later when I upgraded the head unit, I realised how easy it was to get to the back of the CD400.

So really, I think it comes down to where you want to place the iPod. There is not much difference between the two.

    Cheers,
    Rob

I prefer the rear of the head unit, it is easy to get & the cable that you are connecting to it, is normally not very long.
