Do you think I can rely on getting 82 litres from the tank ie theoretically drive another 66km after the '0 to go'

take the bloods creek route, much smoother. although i think i read somewhere mt dare had run the grader over the bypass track so might have improved.

The most i have ever put in mine is 76,so i am working on that.....

We used 85l,did 500k,so two are needed to be safe.Another fantastic trip.Will post some pics when I get a chance. The roads around Mt Dare and Dalhousie are in very poor condition.We went down the road that follows the Old Ghan from Alice and it wasd very bad as well.D4 did not miss a beat,and also shot up one of the difficult tracks at big red like a walk in the park.
