My work car had rotors replaced under warranty from being warped.
$650 to replace them and pads, WOW! If they insist it's not covered (call lr head office and check) get a indy brake place or just do it yourself!

Just had my 24 month service and mentions to the dealer that I was getting vibration in the steering wheel while breaking. Mainly noticeable when breaking at around 70klm/hr. When picking up the car the told me that the front rotors needed to be replace because they were warped. I ask if that was a warranty job and they said no it will cost me $650.
The car has only done 18500klm and the pads are barely worn.
I understand that in modern high performance brakes the rotors do wear and need the be replaced when they reach there minimum thickness.
But I would consider warping to be different to wearing and be covered under warranty, especially at these klms.

The front discs on my 2011 D4 were replaced under warranty for the same issue. From memory the car was a year old.
There is a technical bulletin on this issue. The cars known to have the problem are in a certain vin range.
My D4 had a long list of parts replaced under warranty to fix the problem. Including the front rotors.

If you ring LR head office, give them your vin they might be able to tell you what service bulletins are outstanding.

I rang LR customer support one time to ask them to contact the dealer to correct the dealer's warranty understanding which they promptly did and confirmed by a call from the dealer a short time later.

						Thanks everyone for your replies.
I wanted to gather some information before I argued the case.
I will talk to the service manager next week.
If I have no joy I will contact LRA.
I noticed there was technical bulletin on topix when
I put my VIN in and looked under technical bulletins and
Then brake system
