    Bridgestone D697 reviews/opinions

As I am not happy with the performance of my Cooper AT3 (265/60/18) on my D3, I was looking at the new D697 in LT either same size or LT 285/60/18. Does anybody already have a set and how are they performing. These would be my general touring/off road tyres towing CT, as I have 17" MTZ for the more fun stuff. I was also looking at BFG AT KO in LT 265/65/18 but I can get the D697 for $100 less each tire.
    Thanks in advance

Couple of threads already on here.

Proving to be an excellent tyre in 265-60-18LT

I've got 20,000km on mine now mainly offroad and no complaints!

I have mine on for 7000kms and going well. They provide great grip on bitumen, rock and dirt. Not so good on slick mud.

the only downside is the price.

265/60/18 on my D4 for about two weeks. On road only so far, and impressions good. Feel better than OEM Goodyear Wranglers (which is probably isn't hard to do as mine were chipped from some small offroad adventures) and just as quiet.

Had mine for about 6 months, on road very good, minimal extra noise. Off road trips have included Fraser Island, Billygoats Bluff (down), and various other tracks around Dargo. No dramas or chips/splits. Very happy

I have had mine now for 35,000KM, so far i am pretty happy, no complaints.

Good grip on the road, in the wet / dry and quite.

Off road, they are good on gravel and light mud, struggles in heavy mud, but hay, they are not mud tyres.

Sand driving they are good, havent been stuck yet.

Overall I am happy with them.
