Thread: Drier done and new rims on!

Hi all,

Well I just finished changing the compressor drier and putting new rims on!
Drier should of taken half an hour but as I didn't really do any proper research before I started was a lot of trial and error!
In short if you need to get your compressor out all you need to do is remove the cover with the 3 10mm bolts, undo the 2 Allen key bolts, one on the bottom, one on the top that go through the rubber dampers, pull out the airlines on the back and the 2 on from that go into the drier, un do the electronic plugs and it's out!
To get the drier out turn it 90 deg has pull it off (help it with a rubber mallet).
Mine was a little stiff to get off as the metal on the compressor looks to be corroding from moisture....

So after that was done I went about fitting my new king Tera rims 17x8 with conti cross contact ATs! 265/65-17

Tyres are noiser than my standard 20 inch road tyres but are more aggressive then your normal ATs.
No rubbing or touching anything even when lowered to access height.
