I think if the tyre was flat, the jack may need to be put elsewhere, I have faith that it would still get it high enough, there is another 3 or 4" of travel left on the second stage of the jack.

I've bought one of Andy's jack adapters and I'm thinking about the Omega 2 tonne bottle jack to go with it for my D4. With 181 minimum to 418 maximum height it is suitable from what I have read on the forum. My question is whether the 2 tonne lift capacity is definitely ok. I believe it would lift the D4 but I don't want it to just be able to lift it. I suppose I'm asking if there is a good enough capacity margin with a 2 tonne jack?
Here's a link to a seller of this jack. It has the specs for it.

I use a Toyota wind up (mechanical) bottle jack, doesn't leak/drain, doesn't fail.
After LR jack failed, I went online looking for either a Toyota or Nissan 4WD Several Toyota Land cruiser wind up jacks on Flea Bay at present. ($80-90)
