At the risk of being shot down, aren't the air boxes the same for the 4.4 petrol and 2.7tdv6, therefore the snorkel would be the same from Safari? could be wrong!

I just finished the install of my snorkel last weekend, not a difficult job if you have good tools.

But it is not water proof so not a snorkel - if you need a snorkel than a few modifications will be needed to seal the system to waterproof it.

Yup. I know that but fits on the D3 so much better, looks good and there are other worries with the electrics if really wading up to that level.

As long as you have forward motion, the LR RAI won't normally leak water into the system.

    Cheers,

Go the Safari Snorkel, it is worth the couple of hundred bucks extra for the peace of mind.

Hi, I've had a SafariSnorkel fitted to my D3 V8 - done by Bruce Davis after a number of LR specialists told me it can't be done. Worked perfectly through Nolans in Cape York and worth the effort.
