    Power Steering Pump Failure

    Hey everyone,
Anyone had a power steering pump fail! And then driven the vehicle for a while?
Got problems with the fact power steering is playing up/failing. Sort of works sort of doesnt.

Good old Landrover doesn't have any power steering pumps in AU! !!!!!!
Could be waiting a couple of weeks.

Now i had someone tell me, well technically it's got to be replaced anyhow so you might as well just drive it till it dies.. But don't know what happens when it dies completely?

I've got no alarms on dash etc.. (have lost terrain stuff).

Thoughts? Landrover is aware and fixing but it sounds like it could be 3-4 weeks as per usual slowness of landrover and that fun department we all love to hate!

Land Rover are quicker than Tojo who insist it comes by sea not air.

Had a pump replaced under warranty very noisy on full lock.

Don't leave it too long as you will be fitting a rack too as the metal from the failing pump will find its way in there, filters in the reservoir notwithstanding it does happen.

The power steering pump fitment to the D3 is a pig of a job
