Mmmmm... I wasn't planning to. I've never used a diagnostic tool for this kind of stuff. What tool would you recommend?

Greg I use a Hawkeye but there are plenty of other diagnostic tools out the that are as good or even better.
Why not just start a thread asking the question? Or join in the other thread asking about diagnostic tools for MY13 D4's, chances are both vehicles can use similar diagnostic tools I'm guessing.
Hi Greg,
I did GRR and Kulumburu road north to Mitchell Falls last year. I reckon 80km/h steady pace and you'd have no problems. Mind you - rain fall and grading would make a huge difference. Still, the GRR was easy - the Mitchell plateau road was much more of a case of looking out for big rocks sticking out of the road, rather than corrugations. The Bungle Bungles road was a bit of an adventure too - but they say it takes 2 hours... not in a D4 with MTs on! 53 minutes and it was dispatched.
I can't wait to go that trip again and visit some of the sites we had to skip, due to only taking long service leave, and not retirement!
Cheers,
Rob
Greg I've got a near new Genuine Expedition rack I'd like to get rid of but It was bought for my D4, I don't know if they are the same?
I noted a L405 with an expo rack - so they might (with rails)
ask and you shall receive...! (Not sure if its the RRS Expo rack - looks shorter than the D3/D4 one)
That looks just the ticket....thanks Chris. I did check RR accessories prices, these look to be about $3,500! :(
With the roof line on the L322 being less angled at the back a (slightly longer) D3 version might fit (on factory rails) - not sure where kenl is in WA but might be worth a visit to check.
cheers
