Thread: removing the parking sensor loom

I need to remove the parking sensor loom to check it as i found some parts of the parking sensor wires stripped of coating ...........i can acess the place where it plugs in behind the the light .........but i cannot undo the connectors

does anyone know how to undo these connectors ?? There appears to be a place whera flat screwdriver fits in ...but do as i might i cannot seem to get them to budge .....what do i need to do to seperate them .........

You need to remove the rear bar to remove the loom.

The connectors are clipped in on two sides, open the two connector tabs & the sensor then needs to be gently pushed inwards.

Done it a couple of times on mine as I broke the wire when fitting my swing away carrier. :-(
