Thread: D3 console lid

I have just sold my P38 and purchased a 2009 tdv6 SE and absolutely love it except that the Centre Concole lid slams shut when I let it go. Before I pull it to bits, I would like confirmation that they should close a lot more softly then mine is doing. Is that correct?. I have done a few searches but haven't found anything, so maybe it's supposed to be like this.
