Thread: Thanks Tombie!

A while ago I asked if anyone had surplus to there needs, a spare wheel winch.
Tombie was VERY generous and sent me his! What a top bloke!
So I got around to fitting it just now. Used a grinder to cut the old cable holding the old spare wheel in place, un did the bolts, put the new unit in and even managed to fit a 265/60-17 in without having to deflate it!
Had to guide it up so it went up as straight as possible.

And that said everyone in the LR community has been pretty tops to date, lots of great information and members always happy to answer questions they have probably answered 100 times before.

Out of all the forums I have been members of, this is number 1 by a long way.
