    D3 trailer wiring - where does it come out

    My caravan has a rear view camera and the wiring is connected to the standard 7 pin plug, (auxiliary/reversing lights).

    However, when I plug it in to the D3 what is the other end of the wire going to connect with, and where is it located?

    If it comes out somewhere near the dash I may not have to rewire the plug.

    On the d4 the trailer plug wiring comes into the vehicle behind the passenger sidecrear light cluster. If you open the compartment in the rear cargo area ahead of this light you should be able to access the wires. Look up threads on installing electric trailer brakes and you will find heaps of pics ofvthese wires most of it relates to brake light and ebc connections but you should find the info of value.

    I'm wondering if it goes to the dash area so I can connect to my screen.

    I am not exactly sure what you are after but I will assume you require to know where the wire from pin no. 2 at the trailer plug on the D4 goes to in the dash area ?
    If this is what you are after then that wire goes to the CJB. It is a blue wire in connector no. 585R1 pin no. 1 wire size 1.5mm2.
    Pin no. 2 On the D4 is rear fog lights also.
