    Tow ball mount and electrics

    Hi All,

Looking at picking up my first Land Rover, a disco 4. My question is, is it practical or even possible to add a aow ball mount and associated electrics after the initial purchase, or is it better to do this straight up? Just trying to keep initial costs down out of the gate.

    Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Looking at my invoice, I have no mention of a towbar, hitch or wiring.....and it was all on the car when supplied.
So I guess as Kelvin stated its all included....
I would have checked that at the time I guess.

Electrics on a D4 is std.
Tow bar is a separate purchase & some dealers will throw them in.
Haggle or it should have been on the contract.

    From the land rover site.
Tow hitch and receiver with electrics is standard.
Towing tongue with tow ball is an accessory.

Tow Pack – Tow Hitch and Receiver with 12N/12S electrics (Towing Tongue is an accessory)

    Under accessories section.

I just got mine from ISP for $100, the brand was ARK. It is rated at 3.5 ton and came in it's own carry case.
