It will be the actuators they are a common problem

Hi All, The other night I went up to the club for tea. On arrival we all jumped out and locked my D3, I heard the mechanisms operate we started to walk off when I realised I had left my wallet in the car, without thinking I grabbed the door handle the door opened and the alarm went off. To my surprise. I grabbed my wallet and relocked the car I tried the door again and it opened again with the alarm going off again. I had too push the lock button quite a lot of times before it would lock. Next morning I checked the car and found 2 doors were not locking. A spray of WD40 and all doors are locking now. So next time you go to your car just check to see if all doors are locking. A visual look inside at the door handles will tell if the doors are locked or not

Yep will be the passenger side actuator, most likely.
Better than my scenario, I have no remote opening at all.
That and my D3 is almost into week 5 of sitting in at Alto.

						Hi rb30gtr,
The lack of remote operation is commonly due to a faulty splice in the passenger side doorwell (near the b-pillar).
Mine did this when I first got it. It had been sitting for a couple of months so I assume that stuff had just got a little lazy. A spray of WD40 as suggested above and a couple of weeks of regular locking/unlocking has seen the problem go away.

Had a locking mechanism replaced on the D4 when the alarm kept going off.
Where did you spray the WD40? Did you take the door trim off?
Passenger seat/pillar wires, found, soldiered and sorted. (even though it is not common on the 07 update D3's)
Also have replaced the receiver in the roof lining to the vehicle.
And have 1 new key at $600, with both keys re-programmed to suit the vehicle
Central locking works perfectly from inside the vehicle.
Still no remote opening.
Thanks. The car is going in for a warranty repair (maybe) tomorrow.
