I am on Plan D - how do I prove that air compressor should come under electrical? Any idea?
Well, it has wires into it, it's got an electrical motor associated with it, it's control philosphy is based upon electrical signals. You could be onto something with your train of thought - it is too easy just to dismiss it as "suspension" component.
I'd also ask them to define the term suspension and what their suspension coverage includes on higher policies - it would help if they don't mention compressor and just keep it to control arms/bushes/springs/shocks.
Edit - I Just noticed that the power window motors are specifically identified separately from electrical systems, I'd classify them as electrics myself, but no mention of a compressor being separated. They do seem to have left a few holes in there to poke at...
Do you know what specifically failed on the compressor, was it the motor?
