These are very capable vehicles, as other have said, get some good rubber and get out there, you'll be amazed how good they are offroad, one point, approach obstacles slowly and ease over them, just like all the vehicles were doing in the video, the 4WD system works better this way, your mates are going to hate you now

Here's a couple of vids to give you an idea of how good they are, a couple of guys in Patrols tried this hill and couldn't make it, listen to the voices in the background

You have given me confidence to give it a go. I previously had a Prado, so am keen to see how the LR goes in comparison.

I still have new original road rubber, so I guess will need to lower the pressures to achieve some improved traction, but keen to try.
    First LR,

As everyone mentioned straight out of the box they will amaze you.

I took a mate who had never been off road in RRS out on Saturday with 20in rims and road rubber and he climbed a lot of the stuff we did on the 2nd day of the AULRO trip around Mt Walker without a problem.

Could not wipe the grin off his face, he was amazed that he could drive the stuff we drove.

The best suggestion I have is to find your local Range Rover or Land Rover Club or put a call out to Forum members in you area and get someone to show you how good these are and what all the buttons do !!!.

    Good luck and enjoy.

    George
