Oil pressure light/wiring towing accessory plug

    Hi there,
just bought a new (for me) 2011 D4.
Very nice indeed and a leap from our D2.
The hand book shows an oil pressure light (the old oil can) but I do not see one on start up, just the engine check symbol.
Other point the trailer plug seems to have the brake power #5 I think wired to the parking lights!
Also the accessory socket ( white one) seems to have 2 power sauces (engine on and off) and an earth. The other pins seem to be cold.
Any ides from the floor would be appreciated.

It's quite a learning curve for me what with pushing buttons to start
    and stop the machine!!

    Thanks

Yes pin 5 on the N & S setup is one side parking lights (can't recall left or right) so if you have electric brakes your in for a surprise first time you turn on your lights - search the forums there's some info about how to wire in electric brake controller without causing the vehicle electrics problems.
