I think I need to replace the bushes on the lower control arms of my D3, and have seen some poly aftermarket items. Wondering if you considered them? Pro's Con's? any info anywhere on changing the bushes? I searched the forum and (surprisingly) couldnt find much....

I tried SuperPro nolathane anti roll bar bushes - in short don't bother.
I'm getting the standard rubber bushes back in next service.

The latter design OEM bushes are much better than the original designed ones.
Cheaper to replace the whole arm rather than replace the bushes.

agree 100% , as the lower ball joints have a similar lifespan to the bushes, and labour etc adds up!

Regarding the front arms it seems there are a few versions available. What part number is recommended for a D4 3.0 with EAS? Thanks Andy.

I believe these are the part numbers for a 2010 d4. Can anybody confirm please? All the web says d3, but I'm assuming they are the same for d4.

I'm looking for a complete lower wishbone set (l and r) including bushes, ball joints and bolts.

D3's are different to D4's. There are also sublet changes to them also Eg: 11.5MY to say 13MY. The only way to get the correct ones for your vehicle is via your VIN.

I have just had my 2010 D4 done.
Part No.s are
LR025613 Left
LR025610 Right

Until I ordered them via VIN I was thinking LR028245 and LR028249 but these are for D3 it seems.

If you google the D3 ones you will find after market ones as well as OEM are available.

I got OEM sent from Duckworths in UK. I had them installed by an independent, they sort of said they would put D3 ones on if they were supplying as they are much cheaper. The OEMs for D4 were talked about as being about $860 a side for just the part for the D4 here in Australia.

Hi , Dapper . I did consider poly but the feed back was they would make the ride harsh . So i went with OEM bushes and lower ball joints did the job myself , ihad acess to a press at work so it made the job alot easy for me. The hardest part was getting the bushes out drilling out the rubber and using a hacksaw through the outer sleve. The bushes and ball joints were a good fit back into original arms, they say they can stretch but were fine. I can not rember where i got the info to do the job pretty simple realy . Will have a look to see if i can find it mean while google it , it was on a uk landrover site i'am sure. A lot cheaper as well.
