    Hats off to Ritter!!

My trusty D3 decided to leak coolant. No worries car booked in for service on 6th Jan..I will just keep an eye on loss rate.

Get home to find a good puddle under the car...call Craig at Ritter he says they fully booked but bring the car in for quick pressure test to see if car could wait till service.

Get up next morning to find really big puddle under car...call for tow truck and car off to Ritters.

Now the hats off bit...Craig/Jason and co diagnosed failed water pump, had it replaced and ready for collection same day!

Shame as on 6th the car is having cam belts done, and water pump would have been replaced then!

Always good to hear stories like this where someone goes above and beyond to get people out of trouble. Ritters have a good reputation, and it is these sort of things that keep that reputation up there where it belongs.

Listen to the boys out in the garage coming in to get advice on how to fix or resolve tricky issues is also reassuring that Craig Owen Jason and crew are also passing on the HOW TO fix for our Deffers, Discos and Rangies

Not that any of them are past it

Go another hats off to Ritters.
Little drive to QLD and managed to get a trifecta.
1-Flat battery Wagga Wagga beach due to my fridge, Dual battery dead as a dodo Easy fix with a jump start. Ok it was a little tricky as the next door person had some mental health issues so I walked a little way a way to find a more balanced person to share a battery with.
2- Sinking feeling as air was clearly ejecting from near left rear wheel, About 20km from West Wyalong on a dirt road with three hot rug rats. First call to ritters to double check which fuses to pull to stop killing the compressor. Not problem Thanks Jason, Craig and Owen.
Slow low ride into West Wyalong to find three places a bit scared to look at my disco. Chat with Jason later, kids in a motel pool, wheel off and simply reattached air line as per Jason's advice- it was a mongrel of a job with only a 1/4 turn of the nice nut but an hour later I was floating properly in the pool with the Disco at the right height too. Mongrel of job a bit harder due to my failure to grease my high lift jack! Up was ok. down took pliers and boy it was slow!

3- Blew a tire after hitting god knows 30km from Warwick Qld. Point 2 had me insisting i would get some grease the next morning, which I didn't, so change of tire took 3 time its needed time.

Point is at Ritters or even stuck in a nice place a long way from home by phone I was helped to fix my truck and keep rolling. Thank you Jason, Craig and Owen.

Yes I reckon they would have to be one on the best non stealership LR specialists around.

They were also very innovative back in the early RR days. My old 83 classic was converted to auto by Ritters using a C4 trannie.

Now for those that don't know, the 4 speed manual and transfer case in these was a one piece unit. So this made for a not very straight forward conversion.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

I was in there a couple of weeks ago talking to Craig. They seem fantastic! Craig was happy to talk with me for 20 mins or so on just general car crap. Will be having my car serviced there in the next few weeks, and also an ARB Bull bar fitted. Will surely report back with what is hopefully good news

10 points to yourself for having the car towed. I have heard of plenty who didn't and suffered the consequences, then blamed everyone else.

Like the Prado driver we met in remote NT last year, driving with a low oil light.
