    Park brake shoes

Is it usual to replace the park brake shoes when the rear brake rotors are changed out?

Im about to replace the rotors and pads, and have all the parts except the park brake shoes

No it is not usual. You should just need to adjust them as per the manual.

    Service bedding in mode

Changed out the rear rotors and pads on RRS this afternoon.

Adjusted the liners as per the manual.

First thing tomorrow going to bed the liners to the new rotor/drum

According to the manual once you enter "Service bedding in mode",
you can bed in by 10 repeated applications of the Electronic Park brake from 20- 35 kph, with a 500 metre or 1 minute spell in between. The force increases each time

Can someone, who has done this procedure, tell me what to expect? Do the rear wheels lock up ?

no, no locking up but i stress that you must allow adequate cooling between stops, in a uk winter 500metres may be enough, but in my opinion drive twice that distance in high ambient temps. overheating the parkbrake shoes during this bedding in procedure is counter productive.

Tried to do the bedding in and it was not very sucessful.

Applied the brake 3 times and held, then applied park 4 time and released 3 to get to bedding in mode. Didnt see any indication in info window

Drove off and the brake released OK, applied the park and the rear wheels locked and skidded.

Warning park brake icons (both red and yellow) came up. Only did the first of the 10 park applicaitons and the parkbrake has failed
Faultmate cant clear the error C1A00

Not sure but, I think the actuator is cooked? Fuse 8 is OK

    Any advise, welcome
