Hmm it's interesting to see that it is comfortable!!!!
It will be interesting to see what happen's when we get it down here and put it through it's paces!!!!! Hmmm I wonder if LR Aus would let me take it up to the Cape!!!!! ? Then do a write up!!!!
Just heard a story from a fellow Landy owner, who told me a story, of a mate of his, who bought a Td5 Disco took it up the Cape.
Whilst in transit the Disco cracked it's chassi!!!!!!!! 8O
The owner who noticed that the Disco was travelling a bit differently, got out, looked under the Disco, could only see what looked like water running down between the rear chassi member, thought oh well I have Land Rover assist I'll keep going. On his trip to the York he then towed from various situation's the following vehicle's!!!! , 1 80s Toyo, 2 Nissan's and one NH Pajero. On questioning, my mate asked did you make it up and back, the answer was !!!!!! Yes!!!!!
As it turn's out, he took it back to where he bought it, and as the story goe's ? LR Australia replaced the Chassi and said that it didn't happen!!!! 8O ( The Disco only had 2000klm on the clock and was still under warranty)
He now has a car with new chassi, I wonder what really happened to the old chassi? has it been re-welded and put on another car? Or has LR Australia really sent it back for the LR Engineer's to check out?

    I want one

    I want one BAAAAAADD,
I would trade my defender, Rangies and wife in for one. Jeez, i hope she doesn't read this. Seriously, it's about time they did something with the disco's. I just wish i knew what they are going to do with the defender's and When.

Still don't like that front silver thingy under the grille.

Maybe I could p**s that off when I fit a bullbar.

Next lifetime when I can afford one.

Sounds great, looks good but I wonder if we will get the 4.4 in Aust? Not that I could afford to run it, the 2.6 diesel would be my mark assuming it is as economical as the TD5.
Ah well, my lease has got 3 years to run, enough time for the bugs to be ironed out.............

Gaz69, I found this elsewhere re the defender replacement. Don't know if it is a magazine concept, or a LR one, but I'd buy it.

The blue one is pushing the hummer look a bit.

    But looks great

Who likes playing with photoshop ? BB ?

Grab that Blue 'fender concept and whack some current Aussie disruptive pattern camo on it. THEN we'll know if it looks any good !
