Hi rb30gtr,
I changed from the D3 2.7Lt to the D4 3.0Lt when the D4 was first released.
My D3 had an ECU upgrade done by Ritters Melbourne. Despite the power upgrade, it didn't come near the 3.0Lt in the D4 in terms of low down torque and instant power.
I ended up buying the 18" rims through Gordon (GOE). Despite the rims & tyres being an expensive exercise, I would choose the 3.0Lt any day.

Sounds good,
I'll go and test drive some of the later 3.0 tdv6's.
And agree with the rim choice, I'll try and factor that into the lease price up front.
