Are the discoveries as good as people make then out to be?
What should i be looking out for when buying one?
Why does everyone seem to be getting rid of them at about 150000km?
Are they expensive to run and repair?
    Do they break alot?
Are they any good for towing?

    Cheers everyone
I agree with what everyone else says they are great cars very very comfy although i can only just comment on the D4 and i have just got it last week so far i can't say my about reliability, haha they are so nice to drive so comfy very quick on acceleration.

As for servicing mine is under the corporate program so i understand they are free but anyway. There isn't much that appears to go wrong i was worried to but took the plunge thought why not give it a crack and i haven't looked back love it!!

I was going to say what Graeme did but he has put it very eloquently. The other thing that is a common issue is the EPB, which I have had fail on mine. According to Topix the EPB drums should be cleaned very frequently in off road conditions (500km I think) and since this is never done it could aggravate the EPB problem. I am absolutely amazed at how long the disk brakes last, however. Maybe that is one good thing about having bigger disks.
