D4 trailer sockets. Wire colour codes.

I want to modify the black socket on my D4 to replace the fog light wire on the black socket with the reversing lamp wire from the white socket.

It would be good if i could do this where the harness connectors live.

Does anyone know the wire colour codes?

I was hoping to make the modification where the harness connectors are located behind the trim panels.

If those are the colours for the black (ISO-1724) socket, what are the colours for the white? (or are they also compliant with the ISO-3732 standards)

I understand the harness plugs for the black socket is grey? What colour are the plugs for the white socket?

I'm thinking I'll have to migrate the yellow wire (1) on the white ISO-3732 to the blue wire (2) on the ISO-1724 black

The White Plug on the vehicle is as follows:
    1 Yellow/Brown Reverse
    2-
    3 White Earth
    4 Blue/Pink Battery
    5-
    6 Red/White Ignition/Engine Run
    7 White Earth

The connectors for both plugs are located in a couple of places.
Behind the rear bumper below the L/H tail light.
In the L/H/S cubby area. (This is the easiest to get too.)
The two grey plugs are located at the top l/h side of the L/H/S cubby area.
They are just out of view but if you look up at that location you will see them.
If you want to swap the wire for pin 2 to the reverse wire in the white plug, this is the easiest location.

    Cheers

Are these the same colours as the D3? I'd also like my reversing lights on my camper to be automatic
    Cheers

    Hey Matt,
The 2 wires you mention-Reverse & Fog ARE the same colours, its the rest that are different
I was hoping that there would be an easy swap at the fuse box but there isn't, so you will have to find the wires either in the L/H/R storage area or under the L/H/R tail light assembly & just swap them across.
    HTH
    Cheers.
