    HI,
I have a MY13 Oct D4 HSE and I can not find any setting/option to put the satnav into 'off road' mode NOR can I find a 'breadcrumb' feature.
    Any help locating these?
I also have found how to access the 'hidden' service menu but I guess it's not in there.

When you are in Nav screen push Nav again and it will give the option for On Road or Off Road mode.

I'd have to play with the settings again in Off road mode for the menu options for tracks but they are there.

    hi Rufusking,
I have just had a look. BUT I can see NO options for this. The closest is ;user settings' and then a list of 9 options but nothing to do with on or off road. 'Route options' also doesn't help as it is about 'learning route' and 'easy route' (whatever that is?) on or off.
I have taken photos of each screen and can upload when I get home from work if needed.

Can you retro fit a reverse camera to the smaller default screen?

I think rufusking king is talking about the plastic button below the screen marked NAV. Tried it this morning and it brings up a screen saying on road use / off road use. If you select off road use it brings up a new map screen with different icons to select. The "breadcrumb" one is called Track I think.

    well there you go!
I don't have ANY (physical) buttons associated with the factory fitted centre screen.
it is a Oct My2013 HSE D4 with Harmon Kardon sound system (9 speaker) so should be the top of the range fit out.

    Hi Peter,

It sounds like there has been a few 'Buttonology' (I know that isn't a word ;-)) changes over the last few years.

I often feel the earlier models had more equipment fitted as standard, as market sweeteners probably.

I've got a 2013 Spec Sheet, which I thought was the Australian one ... but maybe not. It states the lowest H&K system should be 11 speakers and that the premium Nav fitted to the HSE has 4X4 information but states nothing about Offroad. Maybe it's been removed?

Very frustrating trying to figure it out.

    Hi all,
OK, On further looking (always helps to look twice and answer once!!) I do have a NAV button!! It is in a row with 3 others between the volume control knob and the mode control knob!
So on pressing that the first screen that comes up is one that offers either on or off road navigation!! And if off road is pressed a whole lot of option come up including 'trace' (or breadcrumbs) as well as saving routes and waypoints amongst others, Totally useless for driving on roads unless you plot a LOT of waypoints!
But the breadcrumbs remain even when swapped back to on road navigation (unless you go back into off road and turn them off).
So it looks like I have a lot more playing to do in the privacy of my own garage!
Oh and Kev, I may well have 11 speakers as two of the grills I counted has two speakers behind it!

I do intend taking the D4 off road, so will the terrain response info on the screen really make a difference, or is it just a gimmic?

    Hi Daryl

Some screen shots so you can see what you get.

The last screen shows Extra Features which is how you get into the 4WD screens shown above it.
