LP probably means low power.
The 3l comes in two specs, yours may be the lower power.(replaced the 2.7l)
I hoping someone can explain to me what this means. I asked my dealer to provide me with a final confirmation spec of our car, which according to the info provided will be delivered approx 7th June 2014.
What I got was a screen dump of a view order, I don't know if it is LR software or the dealers software, but it says:
Specification: Configured Vehicle Specification
Core Spec: Discovery TDV6 Diesel (LP) SE, Australia AUS, HQVH/350HB,2014 (HQVH), 2014 Model Year (001BV).
It then says the body colour, interior colour & 8 speed ZF Transmission, Build period (1404)
So..I gather its being built sometime from April this year & the colour etc is pretty straight forward. But what does (LP) SE mean?
It then also lists the options on the car including some I/we didn't choose - Powerfold exterior mirrors, Blindspot monitoring & a few others.
So I don't really know whats going on with these additional options, but they are not included in our contract or the contract price.
It would also seem that a VIN hasn't been allocated yet, which makes sense as it probably hasn't been finalised in the LR system.
So if anyone has any knowledge of the stuff mentioned above, Im curious to find out what it all means.
Thanks
tiddy

Hi Tiddy,
Isn't the SE model the 185kw engine as std?
The other items you mentioned that wern't on your contract
but on the build sheet are probably std on the
SE version anyway and if there not on your contract and you get
them then you've had a win
(LP) Lease Purchase?
What options have you spec'd. I notice with the vision pack on the website page when selected it also shows the blind spot and rear traffic sensor.
