    You will notice that while the tyre is only 6 mm larger in radius the circumference is a whopping 37.7mm per tyre revolution larger.
    Over just 1 km the larger tyre will cover an additional 15m!
    Can't be good long term for your driveline.

    The tyre guy is a dill, 255/60/18 is 30.0", 265/60/18 is 30.5", you won't even notice the difference, the advantage is the speedo will be closer to correct
