I've never seen a Toyota SATNAV, but I wondered if it was any better or worse than the LR OEM system.
I guess there is possibly another variable at play here .... how the interface is set up.   I imagine Toyota, the system you've seen and the two I researched could actually have a different 'Look and Feel', meaning one may be more user friendly than the other, even with the same platform in the background.

The interface was OK, nothing to write home about, but relatively easy to use. Seemed to have the ability to add various media (music, photos, videos etc.).
