Hey Scary...sounds awesome, I bet you can't wait for it.

Mine apparently arrives on the dock at Port Kembla this weekend, so maybe...just maybe I might have it by next weekend.

Like you, my wife & I went for the TDV6, I just couldn't justify the extra $10k like you said. I know the SE goes better, but Im certainly not disappointed with the TD, plus I think we got a ball tearer deal, so Im more than happy with out choice.

Very impressive for a non performance based car.
That's what I find works best to it just pulls like a train, I try and explain it to my partner but give up and just let her do what she wants haha. Has anyone else ever had the window down and noticed at about 2500 - 2600 rpm the pssssh sound of the turbos switching over???

Don't count on it. From personal experience, it can take up to 3 weeks for pre-delivery, in which time the dealer did not know where it was...

At least yours made it into the country before they lost it. Mine got lost before it left England.

Somehow though I think our dealer was a little unique in that respect.

    Cheers,

Ha ha - My subaru I drive daily has more power and torque at the wheels than the Disco has at the flywheel - certainly wasn't bought as a performance car but has plenty for around town, towing and country driving

around $7k off full retail - WA Stamp duty is different to other states so on road is probably not the best comparison
