You mean, not everyone has a black bonnet protector and Fyrlyts?

And, driving the Hay Plain at night, they were bloody brilliant, even thou one was looking for possums after a bird strike.

Fyrlyts & bull bar came off unscathed. RIP to the bird thou.

Added these today using a home made bracket. Lights are 6" Hard Kor 6000k. Not had a chance to try them yet. Biggest pia was running switch wire thru firewall😞

Will be once I get the winch in☺

Thanks for the idea.. I used an Ironman DRL wiring kit as it had a mouse switch. Other kits did not although I'm not sure what the Hard Kor kit has.

I didn't need a wiring kit as I had already run a 7-core trailer cable into the cabin, which also serves for the winch isolator switch.
I've also run a separate cable from front to back along the sill tracks for other switching requirements.

    Cheers,
    Scott

Good thinking...unlike me who realised afterwards that I should have put multiple wires thru the f wall😞

Use the cable as a draw wire to pull a multi core through when you’re next in there. Couple of splices and all good D4 spotlights

Wish I’d have done that, gets awfully tight, and has me wondering now about vibration issues in the future, causing cuts and shorting it all out, or even worse, a fire.

The OEM lights on my poverty-pack 2015 D4 are the worst of any vehicle I have driven in years.

A set of Fyrlyt Nemesis 9000s more than compensate!

I haven’t looked into anything as yet, but are there upgrade bulb replacements for the headlights and driving lights available, that are worth getting?
