Thread: Advice - Buying used 2012 D4 - what to look for

Hi all,

My sister and BIL are looking at selling their 10yo Prado and stepping into a 2012 D4 SE (6 spd, 3L - 180kw) with around 70k on the clock. Apart from a full service history, what should I be telling them to look out for? From memory there was something due around 60-70k km but I can't for the life of me remember what.

Starting with the FAQ's, I will be doing some research tonight as they will be looking at this car tomorrow and I want them forewarned and forearmed. Now, over to the collective brains trust!

Both of these are usually due around 60k to 70k:

Lower control arm bushes: approx $1200
