discovery 3 4.0litre timing belt change

    Hi

I have done 106,000km's on my discovery 3- I haven't had time to get the 100k service yet but i wonder if i have exceeded the timing belt change requirement, and if I have is it ok to continue to drive in the next week or so before I organise a service etc.

Also where is a great place to get a service done in Perth.

    Thanks in advance

    camshaft belt

    HI

I've been told it's the camshaft belt that needs changing at 110,00 km's.

Is this right. If so anyone know how long it would take to replace etc

    Thanks

As mentioned above these engines do not have timing belts but have chains so do not require routine changing as a service item.

Perhaps the reference is to the serpentine belt.
