SupporterThis may have been posted somewhere before but here goes - worth it to see the smooth composed and very, very capable D3 do its thing...
defenders do seem to make it look hard ? the bloke in the Black D3 seemed to wonder what all the fuss was about

Hi,
This is a water crossing I did this morning at "Rocky Crossing" Barrington River. According to depth markers the depth was 30-40cm. Current wasn't strong. Lost the front number plate on the first go (southbound).
I would be happy to take some hints and tips if I did anything wrong or could improve my technique.

Cool vid SBD4. I've been up around the Freemans Waterhole area a number of times. Its a fun spot. Not so much in the watagans but im not entirely sure where the boundaries are.
How come the rangie struggles up the rock step where the D4 walks it? They appear to have similar tyres and height, so is it a Terrain Response thing? Where the D4 is more sophisticated than the RRS?
Cheers.
