Thread: 2011 D4 leaking diff - Prognosis please

Long story short:

I emailed LR making my case and they promptly replied that a "Goodwill" case was possible but it had to be made by the dealer. The dealer made the call and was told that the repair would have to be worth more than $500, which in this case the dealer says its not.

The dealer also raised the issue of the car not having a recent service history with them, but that's a story about customer service which will have to wait for another day.

The wash up is the D4 is booked in with a private LR garage next week.

Glad it turned out to be wallet considerate
