I just looked on Amazon and you can get all pads for US$129... then add US$100 for shipping from USA! (Search on part numbers EUR1098 and EUR1099).

IIRC, they were roughly $150 for fronts and around same for backs when I looked a few months ago. I suspect labour to remove rotors and machine would be the bulk of that quote.

I had mine serviced where I bought it in Perth last week. They told me that I would probably be up for a new set of pads next service.

I asked them about fitting Akebono's. They stated that they had never heard of them (looked them up on the intergoogle while I was there and seemed impressed). They said that if I supplied them, they would be happy to install and would be keen to monitor them and see how they compared against what they fit as standard for wear / performance / dust generation etc. Gotta be happy with that.

Part Numbers from Pedders are PEUR1098 (front) and PEUR1099 (rear). Pedders do not supply the wear sensors - use genuine Land Rover ones.

PXBS0024 & 5 Sensors ex Pedders. I believe they are Bosch
