I couldn't believe how negative that review was right from the start. And how is buying 4 V8 Holden utes one after another relevant?

Forget the fact I am a LR diehard for a moment, but reading that latest test is nothing more than an insult to ones grey matter.

I have a lot to do with motor journalists both two and four wheeled because of our business and where we are located and nearly every four wheel journo I have ever met and some two wheel ones as well are the biggest self serving ******* you are ever likely to meet in your lives.

To be frank I reckon rear view mirrors were invented for these cretins to admire themselves. Most of these people believe they are automotive gods and their expert opinions (as that last Carsales moron said) should be taken as gospel.

The funny thing is most get paid stuff all and that is why you mainly get nongs doing the job, anyone who has some real ability goes off and works in some other field, so the same dopey clowns who are prepared to work for peanuts stay put for years and their ego's just keep getting bigger and bigger and their opinions and scribblings more outrageous and insulting to the average person.
    Cheers,
    Terry

That may well explain the problem, the onset of blindness due to not having both hands on the keyboard has prevented him from seeing the drivel he has written.

What a tosser, having said that, Joshua Dowling is not really known for his objectiveness. To me he came across as trying to be lighthearted & critical with humour chucked in, a bit like the way Clarkson does it, only Joshua Dowling is a major fail.

It is then, ironic, that he seemingly has female friends who are infinitely more knowledgable about cars than he, a motoring journalist...no sorry a motoring writer is.
