Thread: RRS 3 litre chip/reprogram

I have done a quick search but can not find much information.
I have a friend with a RRS about 3-4 years old, 3 litre twin turbo. He was looking at a new one but says he prefers the way his one drives. He would like more power as his RRS feels a little under powered compared to his wifes 5 litre Merc .

Does anyone have any useful information about exhausts and performance upgrades for the RRS. This is just a road car.

Unless you take your chip out and send it to them it cannot be done.
The 3L engine has Bosch antimap firmware it needs to be bench mapped.
Superchips do a bluefin unit that will work with it (can take map on and off or change map) but it has to be bench mapped first.
There is a Superchips dealer in NZ who has the gear. he comes to Oz regularly.
