Thinking back I don't think I've overtaken without hitting at least 130. You apply a bit of Rossi, pull out and all of a sudden yre at 130 and the poor nomads towing their van are probably thinking "How rude!" as I disappear over the horizon. Embarrassing sometimes.
Excuse this post as it strays a bit off the topic, but as most are D4 pilots - just a heads up on wheel nut re torque.
If you haven't already checked them, probably wouldn't hurt. I had that interesting feeling today at about 100, was that a bit of deformed bitumen or did one of my wheels feel loose? :o
A quick turn of all the nuts and surprisingly the front wheels each allowed me to turn a couple of nuts about 20-30 degrees. 5000km clocked.
LHS rear wheel had a couple move too. :(
Had a microsecond where the Nav screen flickered and the radio volume jumped too, less than a second, happened when slowing down from 60 to turn left, checked wiring and battery clamp bolts seemed a bit loose :(
.
Black Betty has done just under 10000ks a year in the time Ive owned her.
When Snow White is 5 years old,she should be around 50000km,if that. Will be easy to cover the baloon payment if I decide to renew to another newbie;);););););)
