    Integra Side Step D4 from Bushranger

    Looking at side steps and found some by Integra on the Bushranger site, they're $780 which is pricey, but they look more solid than the genuine ones, but photo is not crystal.

    Anyone know about them? I searched the forum, nothing on integra steps. I've done LOTS of reading on here about rocksliders and love the Idea, but from what I've seen I'd need to fix chequer plate or similar to achieve MY desired function, as I don't yet expect to find myself in the situation where sliders are required (except car park door protection )

    So, genuine best price I was given is $1200, OEM from Ebay is $399 (NO BRAINER ) and these Integra look substantially more solid (and shiny chequer plate like?).

    Any experience? Thanks in advance. And yep, love the sliders by Brad and Graeme.....one day.

    Bear in mind that they are not advertised as a rock slider. "Essential for convenient entry and exit from your vehicle and easy access to the roof, plus full length lower body mud and stone protection". They will not have the strength required to be able to protect from impact. Very likely to fold up and prevent doors from opening if they have much impact.

    In short, they are to help you get in the car, and keep some crap off the side. Not to save it from impact on rocks etc.

    Thanks winaje, thought I explained that I was WELL aware of the limitations, obviously I didn't make my point well

    So to be clear, I know the differences and DO NOT expect side steps to work as rock sliders, otherwise they would call them rock sliders with step.

    Apologies; the risk involved in reading at work while on the phone...

    I don't know that particular brand, but have seen similar. Others would probably have more experience, as I've only used big heavy full length C section sliders on my D2 lol
