If you have a non-genuine bulbar blocking access to a warranty repair, then the dealer can charge you for the additional time required to complete the repair.
It's a globe, just replace it - if the bar is restricting access, then get to know what you need to do to replace the globe for future reference.

Land Rover cover starting batteries for the full 3yrs. Some manufacturers only cover them for 1 or 2 years though.

Mate of mine has an Amarok fitted with an ARB bar
The horn failed.
He put it in for warranty replacement.
The horn was free & $600.00 to remove & refit bulbar.

He will not buy an Amarok next time.

Wait until he has to replace the front struts, The CV's have to come out, and a series of torque to yield bolts replaced. Every vehicle has it's foibles, not just LR products.

I had a brand new Amarock turn up here on its first trip Albany to Perth,it oozed oil all over my driveway and was splattered all over the underside.
I told the owner I wouldnt drive it any futher.He did without calling broken rock assist

He contacted them when he got to Perth,it was the oil feed to the second turbo that was leaking,it didnt burn,proving **** dont burn

This is not true, have had the front struts out twice in ours, yes it's a pain but you don't need to remove the CVs or replace any of the bolts that I was aware of.

Gordon at Opposite Lock did our Amarok, had a lift done, new Dobbinson struts and springs, Gordon never mentioned any of what you say.

Had our Rok for 3 years now, been a great car.

It's the recommended VW workshop proceedure. As is the replacement of the stretch bolts.
