Sun visor / shroud for touch screen arrived in the post today ................. thanks Chris.

Would have been close to a perfect fit ......................... except that I forgot to allow for the Kuda mount already installed above the touch screen in mine. No big deal though. A quick mark-up and a bit of cutting with the Dremel tool to allow the top of the shroud to fit either side of the Kuda mount, and it all went together like a bought one.

No need to apply any other finish to the shroud in my opinion - it looks like an OEM fitting once it is installed.

    Cheers .........

Mine came today too. No photos yet due to fitting in the dark. Minor shaving of the bottom corners as per Chris's instructions. I took the trim piece off and fiddled a bit to get the legs under the trim. Looks spot on now. I agree with Brian, colour and finish as is looks good to me. Am considering putting a piece of black wrap on its top for sun protection. Is yours still raw Chris?

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, it's really appreciated.

Mine is finished off by filling the imperfections with some aerosol spray putty, a sand then satin black aerosol spray paint. The colour is perhaps a bit dark and a charcoal would better match the dash trim colour.
    Cheers,
    Chris.

I wondered how the Kuda would go,as Brian said only a minor issue.
I'm considering silver to match the bling, not yet convinced.

That would be a different look Andrew. Personally, the chrome finishes in the cabin drive me mad with sun reflections to want to add any more bright surfaces. Would be very interested to see how it looked if you do go that way though.

I agree with you guys in that the natural ABS black does match to the dark trim quite well. You would probably find that with the UV protection in the glass, any UV degradation over time would be minimal.

I have been meaning to get an offcut and hang it out on the clothesline in full sun and see how long it lasted. I have had some raw printed roofrack legs on my D4 roof for a few months now with no ill effects.

I'm pretty sure that if you ask Chris nicely, he could use a "hot pink" ABS to print out your visor. Might not go with the dash, but would be a perfect match for some of your clothing.
    Cheers .........
