Has anyone thought about creating large magnetic covers likethe advertising Fridge Magnetic to put on the Discovery when we go out into thebush?
This way our side panels would be protected e.g. doors etcfrom the bush and scrub.
Good idea?
Look forward to your thoughts

Think of dirt particles getting trapped along the edges, a bit of vibration and you end up with a dull paint line. Now what about mud and larger particles?

sounds a good idea for side protection.. or maybe a wrap?
What about the brush on or spray stuff that you later wash off specifically designed for the purpose?

My thoughts were not to leave them on there for any length of time just when we are out in the bush and peel them off when we do not need protection from the scrub.
Although you could leave them on the doors to protect them from the door bashings at the shopping centre car parks
Ok how about Alloy body panels!!!

I think I'd just use a couple of cans of plasti dip if I was going out bush for a long time, peel it off when you get back to the 'burbs.
