It was by far the best one I drove and is very tidy. Mrs was/is impressed and I don't think it will be long before it's annexed and I'm dirving a Mitsi Colt around.
Good one Cliff. Impressing the mrs is a big tick. Congrats. I am still enjoying getting used to a 21st century Land Rover.

I look forward to the pics.

    North.
It's gone form all adds (they must be confident it will sail thru inspection) so I can't post any pics yet. Sadly this is the most expensive car I have bought topping my last disco. No buyers remorse!

Well done Cliff, though if your wife has driven it, you have probably lost it! Ha ha. It happened to my brother-in-law with their new Disco. Good luck with the purchase.

Yes, boat was the same....once I told her it had a toilet.....SWMBO green lit it straight away.
I'm hoping that they can also prove the belts were done. The salesman said "I guarrentee it's been done / good" to every question I asked (and my Mrs was there as a wittnes).
I will prolly go for some extended warranty to cover my butt as long as I don't have to service at the same place I bought.

When we got the D1 she refused to dirve it. "Too Big" she said. Then her car was put of the road for a week while I sorted it and she had to drive the D1. Not long after it was " can you move your work ute? I need to go shopping". I informed SWMBO that her car was on the verge, not blocked in at all. "Oh, I thought I'd take the Landy....". 3 weeks later the Toyota was sold.
We only sold the D1 as she was driving 2km to the train stn ever day and back which was going to kill it.
So yes, I fully anticipate many instances of not being able to find my keys as the car has gone on a shopping trip with her and 5 of her mates!
But as the saying goes....Happy wife, Cliffy gets to have more toys (ie Happy Life!).
