How sensitive to one odd tyre size is D3 ?

    Morning all,
How sensitive and does it upset a D3 if there are 3 fairly new tyres and one nearly bald one on the ground ?
Not inquiring because I need to know (yet) but may need to know if stuck somewhere.
Different brands are not always the same rolling diameter for the same size either.

Thanks if anyone knows one way or the other.

When I ran a new tyre with 3 3/4 worn ones I had no problems, DSC may have triggered a little sooner though.

Thanks GDub, the sort of feedback that I was hoping for.

That was my experience too, the DSC seemed more sensitive and would activate a lot more, had me baffled for ages, I think I even put a post up about it, hoping for an answer.

In the end I changed back to my road tyres and it was a lot better again, but it would still activate, not quite as bad, but still there, so I got a wheel allignment and it was all good again.

If it's out of allignment it can trigger the DSC also, it was due for one anyway.

Boy it must be sensitive if wheel alignment triggers it

Lots of 55kph corners on the old highway to my place, 100kph zone, for some of it, I don't slow down

All I know is that some time ago I asked the dealer here to do an old fashioned 5 way wheel change on my first RRS but they refused to do so citing that the difference in wear between the spare (which had never been on the vehicle) and the road tyres was too great and it could result in all sorts of problems. So now I always do a 5 way wheel rotation thus keeping all 5 at a relative even wear rate....Lew.
