    Alternator D3

I've put that on BBS forum, but no answear. So, I hope I will have more luck here. I read service manual and hundreds of posts on internet, but I didn't find what is output voltage from alternator. Some are saying it should be 14 V or between 15 V but primariliy around 15V. Some people wrote it should be between 13.6 and 14.4, but not higher because of battery gassing. I know it should be higher at engine start up and than it goes down to correct voltage which charges battery and supply all consumers. I found out it is regulated by ECU and It depends on the ambient temperature. I would like to know values appropriate for this car. Another thing is what happens when ECU gets wrong signal from alternator(ECU shut off programs?, Why... What is wrong signal for ECU?) Do you have any ideas where I can find such information? Does anyone has a clue and had a similiar experience?

    Hi Jake,
For all things battery/alternator related, contact Tim {drivesafe}. He sells the dual/multiple battery set ups and is a wealth of information about these things.
